I would hardly call it a fight. I asked him about a sensitive matter, he got defensive as is his wont, but he calmed down and agreed to make an effort to be more reasonable.

You've made the right choice, I would say. Many here have needed others to keep pestering them in order to face or alleviate their burdens. And both Hades and Lahabrea are... mm, fond of being secretive even with their loved ones.
